To be serious, since Txiki has been in charge, I can't think of any deadline day deals, other than kids of CFG players in or out. Surprised how late Akanji happened, as doesn't seem to be how we usually operate

Yes Benjami was like hours after deadline... lol fantastic at the time... he fell asleep!!! Lots of fun on that deal... wank player but will be a legend after 1-2 against United on their birthday! :-)
And as you say I cant remember us dealing on deadline day for ages...

The closer we get to the deadline without hearing anything, the harder it is to believe that anything is going on. But it's not impossible.

Got to be honest, I’m glad that never happened. Same with Kane, although I was all for it at the time. Getting an age-old Messi wouldn’t have worked.

We’ve waited for the pinnacle signing. As jug ears said, it was a seminal moment for the premier league when we signed Erling.
