Should we sell him and then buy someone ( from a position of need ) or or buy someone first and sell from a position of strength?Given we haven’t even found a buyer for Laporte I don’t think that’s happening any soon.

The last question is very easy because he’s still here and his valuation isn’t seemingly matched by anyone either. Far as the prior statement, that is entirely situational. We still have Aké and can even go for cheaper options if needed be. Are the club going to be serious this window about pushing us forward or are we still going for the net spend trophy? I know it’s very early days but we have missed out on 2 targets already and all has gone quiet on Gvardiol.
