It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

He left Ajax as a 22 year old to join Barcelona and test himself for what is still one of the most desired clubs to play for. Why do you think he's not happy to be out of his comfort zone? He's just won La Liga, playing regularly for them so why would he want to leave? Our league is hyped up, but it's not the be all or end all to play in it for a lot of players. Bellingham's just made the decision to play for Real Madrid over coming to the PL and I wouldn't question his mindset, that was a tougher choice and he's backed himself. It would be easy for Frenkie to come to England and play under Pep, he'd thrive. But he's probably happy where he is and that's fine, nothing to do with not wanting a challenge. He's arguably got a harder one where he is.
Barca are a glamour club ...in a league which is a 3 horse race at best so winning the league at Barca ain't that much of a stretch considering its usually them or Madrid.
Pep himself has said tgst the prem league is the hardest so you are disagreeing with him.
The lprem league is a lot more physical and while I don't do7bt for one e3vond he could handle the league on a technical basis maybe he doubts his ability to handle the physical side.....some players struggle with that..some players just don't want that either

I do not get the overreaction on Lavia. It’s just an unfortunate situation and it did not work out for him. We will have plenty of occasions where we sell a player and some of them turn out to be gems. That’s the curse of producing the best talent and having the best coaches for a lot of players.
People calling him not good enough/raw/not ready etc. It's nonsense. He is good enough tk start for others in top6 given his demand he is very well good enough for us. Yes we have Rodri but it's embarrassing to belittle his talent and say he is not good enough

Saying that if someone is good enough to start for other big6 clubs they are automatically good enough to start for City is whats nonsense. Not to mention he is yet to make a single start for any other big6 club, most of them are not looking at him as a regular starter but as a squad depth option and he just got relegated in his one and only season in senior football. Lavia is a talent, but if he was good enough to be a part of City, he would have been a part of City.

Nowhere is it implied in my post that he’s not talented.

Messiah, like?
On the monday, Jesus arose from the dead, gathered his disciples around him, turned around and bent over, before pulling his arse cheeks apart, and said, 'see ya later losers... ascension, bitches!'.... then ensued from the messiah's bum a violent burst, the loudest noise anyone had known, a tumultuous storm of guff, which bent the trees, and shifted the clouds, and the cattled were flattened, and the stink that remained was ghastly indeed, until on the third day god sent the people a breeze that left the lands freshened anew. And yea, tho they searched peak and valley - and even under their beds - no one ever saw Jesus again, not even on Facebook.

I am thinking about starting @tolmie's hairdoo emotional support group.

A safe place where we can talk openly about our feelings and try to come to terms with what is happening…

Nothing stays the same but it just hurts so much -:)

Can I get support for the mental trauma I’ve endured trying to work out those obscure music videos… I’m broken :(

I guess it's because the side needs someone to help and rotate with Rodri (Phillips isn't the guy).

So as we've missed out on Bellingham and Rice and FDJ is a no go, people are looking to Lavia as an option.

Otherwise Rodri is playing near every single game again.
