It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

As we have proven for a while that we are known for moving/competing like a 5 litre diesel engine. Cold, slugish, but then POWER CHUGG CHUGG CHUGGIN, when it matters, i'm certain we're going to move in the transfer market. The average age of the leavers is about 31. It's time to rebuild.

Pep is disappointed, but suspect he doesn't want any passengers.

Agents know we can't afford to hang around.

My best guess is Walker, Cancelo, Bernie, Mahrez and Laporte will all be gone.

Could be an exciting few weeks of the window but worried about the impact it has on performances early on?

Out of that list, I only care about Bernie.
With majority of them at Bernie's wedding, seems like something fishy was going on there

So why the surprise from Pep.
Perhaps he thinks the players banking on his door the first day back from holiday telling him they want to leave could have made this clear to him and the club a lot sooner so they could have been sold already. Instead of waiting to tell him until today when its less than 3 weeks until the season starts and half the transfer window has already passed. This since I doubt he takes much notice of what twitter "journalists" report unless the player has told him something themselves. Them being on holiday is no reason to not tell him of your intentions, phones exist. Unless you are a spoiled brat with no respect for your employer, co-workers or contract at all.

Just my guess=)

Must admit I find that a tad concerning…normally get the players walking in, handshakes, almost irrelevant but not seeing it is clearly deliberate by the club…
I asked that question in another thread. Whats the story with that ? No pictures or the annual video of returning to training in their designer clothes with their man bag in hand.... this is strange

Difference is he was given fair opportunities and he fucked it. He was a liability defensively and he kicked up a fuss like a 10 year old because he was benched by Lewis, rather than taking a look at what he needs to improve like Phil and Walker have had to.
Wether we feel he was is utterly irrelevant. He felt he wasn’t so moved on. It’s life. Not sure why people take issue with it and feels like it’s some sort of insult to the club. Very odd. There is still mutual respect between Pep and Cancelo.

Some good news , Kevs been training with Ake and Akanji so maybe that hamstring injury isn’t as bad as we thought.
I thought they were all supposed to be back at CFA yesterday and today and they fly out tomorrow. Looks like Laporte has been in Spain and those three in Ibiza- seems strange?
