Mahrez wasn't a regular starter last season and to attract top talent, they will want assurances about playing time and we can't offer that.

To me, if Bernie stays then we have enough.

We can let Palmer and Gomez have an increased roles and see how that goes and if we need to get in a replacement then we can do that in January.

I personally think Bobb and even Palmer maybe loaned out this summer, if a winger comes in them Mcatee as well.

Yeah but i think Foden and Bernie will be taking a lot those.

At the moment we have Rodri, KDB, Kovacic, Bernie, Foden, Grealish, Haaland and Alvarez for 6 positions, so anyone new knows he'll be fighting for minutes with them.

Mahrez was unique and we will miss him and his goals, but it's up to the remaining players to pick up the slack.

We've currently got an estimated 26 players vying for match time, though of those Cancelo, Walker, Laporte are supposedly available for sale and Bernardo could still go, Palmer may and Perrone may also be off on loan somewhere, though hope Cole sticks around instead

Admittedly we may be short on experienced heads if we lose the 3 or 4 mentioned, add in Gvardiol however and we have a solid squad with some young potential.
