Weak...Not Raphina for starters.

I guess that, having brought him back off loan, it is envisaged that McAtee will act as a 5th AM, although having watched him several times on the box last season I never saw anything from him that even remotely made me think he was at Manchester City level, but you may well be right. Given the money being chucked around at Liverpool, United and Chelsea, it ain’t a particularly good time to tread water. They (United et al) can’t get it wrong indefinitely. Got to say I’m still surprised though, cos in 2 years time Kev and Bernie will likely be done, and if we aren’t gonna strengthen the squad now, the rebuild required then will be sizeable.I agree mate but its entirely possible it seems that may happen.
Foden is already on the squad. We're talking about additions. Brahim Diaz? Not a better option. The other 2 are more or less on the same level. Why you would take Coman or Gnabry (both of which I would take as well) but not Raphinha makes zero sense from a footballing sense. I'm convinced you base your opinions on non-football related factors such as a guy's look, demeanor, name or some other off the wall trait...Gnabry, Coman and Diaz (who has had a successful two season spell at AC Milan) for starters. Foden can play in that position to great effect is better than Raphinha.
It’s the same team as last year, less Mahrez AND Gundogan, and I’m not sure how our bringing in a 6th centre half even remotely compensates for the loss of their attacking potency (26 goals between them last season). You don’t think there will be a significant drop off by replacing them with McAtee and Palmer? You cannot believe it mate? Give it a rest. It's the same fuckn team as last season less Mahrez and plus Gvardiol / more developed and prem ready youth players.
Why are we so afraid to spend money nowadays getting tighter each windowI agree mate but its entirely possible it seems that may happen.
Kovacic = Gundogan for all intents and purposes. Same quality player. Kov might be a bit more defensive but that's a good thing with Bernardo/Foden/McAtee attempting to play LAM.It’s the same team as last year, less Mahrez AND Gundogan, and I’m not sure how our bringing in a 6th centre half even remotely compensates for the loss of their attacking potency (26 goals between them last season). I base it on the season that has just gone and with Barcelona wanting him off the wage bill after one season and the player being not that brilliant when he was at Leeds.Foden is already on the squad.
