It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Yep, but they've also spent 200m net this summer. Board might deem it neccessary to grab something back.

This doesn’t look good for Nunes right?

Wouldn't say that - stats like this don't tell the story of roles players are asked to play or the team around them etc. Paqueta's map would look different if it was the preceding year at Lyon. I think Nunes has a good skillset and great engine - he'd be good for City.

Only posted it as I was checking to see what the similarities were between the targets. All of them are good at carrying the ball - just like Gvardiol, Doku and Kovacic.

Tolmie is infamous on this forum. He has his own topic in this sub-forum every window and they are always full of tons of posts and interaction. He is well-liked because he provides information (ie content) that many internet-connected blues like to consume.

But nope, can't be bothered to part with a quarter a day or something. Has to be a boomer thing.
Just wait till the window slams shut then you'll know who we bought.

It looks bizarre to me. How are his passing numbers so atrocious and yet he's second for key passes?

Am I reading it wrong?

This is only my opinion (the opinion of a golf writer of all people with no football expertise whatsoever, to be clear, so take it with a grain of salt) but 'key passes' feels more and more like bullshit to me with every passing week.

You can watch a player who to your eyes has a crap game, has no positive impact at all and doesn't even come close to scoring or assisting and an hour later someone on Twitter is saying they made 7 key passes, more than anyone else in the game. Happens all the time. I would ignore Key Passes personally.

Nunes is decent at carrying the ball forward, even excellent on his day, but he can be lightweight with some deficiencies. There's a reason he's 4th choice in our priority list. We offer the most money for the best talent: 1.Bellingham, 2.Rice and 3.Paqueta are all better than him. I agree with the club's stance, just because we offered more for others, doesn't mean we are prepared to pay the same for Nunes.
