Nunes has been a bit of a waste of money. I’d use him as leverage to bring in Bruno or similar. I still think Doug luiz at Villa would do a job.
If you can only bring a player off the bench if we are 3 or 4 nil up then he ain’t good enough (unless youth obviously)

Nico Williams is good, but extremely similar to Doku (almost to the point you could believe they were the same player), and I think we could use something slightly different. Would be another prospect player alongside Doku and Bobb. Olise and Bakayoko look promising as well(especially the latter) but falls into the same category. I think a goal scoring LW should be the priority, not a RW

In a worst case scenario where we lose Bernardo and De Bruyne (on top of Gundo and Mahrez last summer) we’re crying out for a player that picks up lots of G&A immediately. I’d prefer to see Doku on the right again to utilize his crossing ability more effectively. Pep’s played him more on the left, but he’s looked very good on the right as well and that’s what I think his best future position is. His assist to Bernardo against Bournemouth is the perfect example of what he can do: challenge 1v1 and cross it into his box with his strong foot. His assist numbers could sky rocket from the right, and shooting wise his left foot isn’t much worse than his right foot. He was bought to play as a RW, and even though he was slightly more effective on the left last season I hope he ends up on the right. Pep do have a tendency to play players in a different position to ease them into the squad or understand the system more easily

I think out second biggest priority (after a midfielder) should be a goal scoring LW. Leao was linked to Saudi for £85m and that’s the player I would be all over. Only 24 and picked up 29 G&A for a very inconsistent AC Milan side. Almost single handedly won them the Serie A in 2022.

His ball striking technique is incredible. Vinicius is the only other winger in the world that could replicate that goal. Leao is the closest player there’s even been to Henry IMO. Pace, power, strength, finishing and dribbling, he’s got it all. I could easily see him picking up 40 G&A in all conpetitions for us. Might cost us 100m but I’d rather pay £30m extra for him than Eze who would be another squad player. Incredible player already and he’s only 24

Kvara would be a a dream too. Probably the same price as Leao. With Kvara, you can play him as LW and LCAM alongside Foden. Apparently his on PSG's transfer target list.

i know its all a bit football manager but if there really is interest in the players below.
If Alvarez (£70m), Nunes (£30m), Ortega (£30m), Walker (£20m), Cancelo (£20m), Phillips (£0), Harwood Bellis (£20), Couto (£20m), Kaborre (£10m)
KDM (£100m) - cant see this one.

Then we really have to be looking to build the next squad with 5/6 quality signings
Couple of English youngsters (Branthwaite, Eze, Wharton)
1 or 2 big name signings (Bruno, Musiala, Rodrygo, Neves)
Maybe a couple of solid squad players (Frimpong, Savinho, Olise)

Could be a big summer
We cant afford to stand still like last summer let big players leave without bringing big players in
