Hopefully, him staying is the best outcome, I expect he will. Then he stays for me mate, offer him the new bigger contract and he stays.

Agreed and I would say 70m is slightly low.Eddie is entering his prime for a goalkeeper and arguably the best in the world? Then its the chance to get extra out of the Saudi with premium prices? i would be asking £70m for Ederson in the current market with the fact he is one of the best in the world in his position.
On the negative side, Ederson wanting to chase the money over trophies probably means his desire isn’t the same as it was and that he might be done inside 5 years.Agreed and I would say 70m is slightly low.
30 years old, at least another 5 years at the top level and under contract for a club that appears NOT to want to sell.
Very true but we are in a good bargaining position. On the negative side, Ederson wanting to chase the money over trophies probably means his desire isn’t the same as it was and that he might be done inside 5 years.
Yeah it’s a big difference between being no1 and 2Ortega is a magnificent no2 but I would be deeply worried going into a long season with him as No1
I Pep decides his time is coming to an end then I feel this could be a great way to go, I will be surprised if we havent already sounded him out. If he is up for the move (even sweeter after he fucked off the dippers) then I would imagine he would want to bring a player like Writz with him.
Rumours of a meeting this week between Pep and the hierarchy. It does seem quite early for any definitive decision but I’m convinced if Pep extends, we’ll get him the players he wants.I would be surprised if we have sounded him, or anyone, out.
Pep still has a year left, and I believe both him and Khaldoon. They will look at it when the time is right next year, and take it from there. Doubt there is anything being put forward to anyone else, till they know Pep is going, that seems discourteous to me, and unlike the club.

If he doesn’t we won’t
The only player that comes into that category this summer is Bruno.Rumours of a meeting this week between Pep and the hierarchy. It does seem quite early for any definitive decision but I’m convinced if Pep extends, we’ll get him the players he wants.
