Ter Stegen thread locked ???
How much further will Ederson’s form have to plummet before we revisit this idea ?
Lovely goal from Diaby tonight, maybe I’m slowly preferring him to Leao.
Quite a lot, I'd have thought.Ter Stegen thread locked ???

Be careful what you wish for, reaping the whirlwind...
Is anyone a little bit concerned that we may have a big rebuilding job over the next 2 years?
Think we can assume that this season may be the last we have of Gundogan, and as I said on the Bellingham thread eventually Bernardo will leave, he's linked away pretty much every window and does want to go. With a contract till 2025(?) this summer may be the best time for value. Similar questions exist around Laporte who is linked away and I'm sure isn't happy with his game time (also contract till 2025)
Cancelo may not get the permanent move to Bayern but it doesn't appear like we'll see him play for us again
In the current squad we have Kev (31), Walker (32) and Mahrez (31) who are over 30 and are still key players and have been such a massive part of our success. Obviously a lot will point out Lewis is taking on Walkers roles and Palmer is waiting patiently to take over from Riyad but there are no guarantees with younger players
You take out Gundo, Bernardo and Cancelo (and Gomez as I can't see a long term future for him here) we look pretty short at FB and in CM (over 30s in bold)
GK: Eddy, Ortega, Steffan
RB: Walker, Lewis
LB: Ake
CB: Dias, Laporte, Stones, Akanji
CM: Kev, Rodri, Phillips
WG: Jack, Phil, Mahrez, Palmer
CF: Haaland, Alvarez
That's 16 spots for the 10 outfield positions, sure the club has a plan but this rebuild is on the horizon
