Should have kept Liam Delap , our squad depth is kept very poor considering our midfielders and defernders(Ake and Stones) are very injury prone .Total madness by the club not have a backup for Haaland

Clearly the club didn't feel that Delap was a suitable substitute for our forward strength , hence the decision to sell him.

Pep will no doubt have an alternative plan in mind.

Our backup for Haaland is switching to a false 9, which arguably suits us better in a Rodriless team anyway

Our false nine system worked because our wingers Leroy and Sterling were scoring 10 plus goals each and Kdb and Gundogan were chipping in . Current team has Doku , Grealish ,Nunes and Kovacic who don't have goals in them .

Couldn't we get an older cdm in on a free for a year to rotate with Kova. Few out there with Champions League level experience
