Now, let's see if we actually go for it or are we just talking the talk.
Well, we're not exactly saying anything about any of our targets. The rumours about transfers are coming from plenty of sources. Tolmie is just one of many. Now, let's see if we actually go for it or are we just talking the talk.
Yes, I mentioned Nico, and you responded with: "Nico, Nusa, and Marmoush, who are these people?"Agree about Musiala and Wirtz.
I’d definitely go for Nico Williams. In an ideal world we’d offer Arsenal £200m for Saka, show who the biggest dog in this league is. Failing that personally I’d like to see us try and tempt Salah away from signing a new contract with Liverpool, or getting Leroy back when his contract ends.
Isn’t there a lad at Dortmund who’s doing pretty well too, Gittens is it?
As you say the bit about the CL is so important in relation to income and also player attraction. A few on here have said we may be better off not being in it next season in order to focus on the league. Great, let's get lumbered with the Europa instead. As for January, I think we can all agree a player or two really need to be acquired.Rather than replying to every post with "not in January" or "it will not happen in January" or "we will have to wait until the summer" perhaps it is worth noting we all get your position but that plenty of us feel we have to be active next month regardless of price and are well aware it could be tricky.
You don't think we need to invest, nor that it will be possible. But you can't rule anything out. There is huge money at stake both in terms of continued participation in this year's CL, the CWC and qualifying for the CL next season.
We didn't do enough in the summer, we can't wait because of the lack of pre-season and we have to see what can be done. You've got no idea whether certain transfers are possible. And it's boring to read the constant repetitive negativity every other post.
setting for mediocrity is how the squad got in the state it currently is
Signing Salah would be the same as the rags signing vanPersie, great for a season then an old, broken player on huges wages.Yes, I mentioned Nico, and you responded with: "Nico, Nusa, and Marmoush, who are these people?"
As for Nusa, please watch him play—the boy is something else. He’s going to be very special, very soon.
Saka would be a fantastic signing for us—a winger who would finally guarantee goals and plenty of assists. However, signing him wouldn’t come cheap, as Arsenal would be selling to a direct rival. Unfortunately we are not in an ideal world, we work with what we have. Offering £200M for Saka is unrealistic, even though he is an excellent player. With so many players to replace, I don’t see us spending that kind of fee on a single player.
I rate Salah highly. At 32, I believe he has two more seasons at the top level, but since he’s a Liverpool player, I don’t see him betraying them like that. Mentioning him is futile—I doubt he’d want to play for us, out of respect for his current club and fans.
Leroy Sané is one of my favorite former City players. I was devastated when he left, but I doubt Pep would want him back—that’s why I didn’t bother mentioning him.
If you rate Gittens, you will definitely rate Nusa and Marmoush!
Not sure we have the choice, this situation could get even worse for me.Now, let's see if we actually go for it or are we just talking the talk.
Ye not a chance that one will happen. Now, let's see if we actually go for it or are we just talking the talk.
Leroy no longer in bracket of Saka or Salah, backward step Leroy.Agree about Musiala and Wirtz.

Winners of 4 titles in a row = mediocrity.
It's injuries caused by a relentless football schedule which is to blame.
The injuries have highlighted the risks of a small squad, however what we've won has shown the benefits to it more. The hyperbole on this site is getting out of hand.
