Makes sense for all parties, doesn't it? Eddie Howe openly said that they had to sell to satisfy PSR requirements, but they can do so here without reducing their squad size. Nunes isn't a bad player but he isn't good enough for us. Newcastle would obviously see him as a downgrade on Guimaraes, but will see his versatility as being useful. Nunes himself probably sees more time on the field at Newcastle than he does at City.Nunes seems the most likely makeweight, although not convinced he’d actually get into their starting XI. £50m + Nunes would be a good deal for us, and help Newcastle with any imminent PSR issues.

Hope we get Bruno G asap but lets be honest, Newcastle arent going to want one of our cast off players are they? It will be a bigger name imo, that the club may have to give up to get this done.

Think wages are a big stumbling block there, unfortunately. We're overpaying Jack for the level of output he is providing and, as such, he will be very difficult to shift.Jack?

Possibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?

Newcastle need to satisfy PSR. They bought a 4th choice keeper in the summer from Forest for about 20m. It's how it goes.Hope we get Bruno G asap but lets be honest, Newcastle arent going to want one of our cast off players are they? We buy Bruno for 100m. They pay 100m for Nunes and McAtee.
