I think we do and I think it would make a lot more sense. Younger, plays the style we do, from the academy, hes a city fan and he’s cost about 40m less.I assume we have a buy back option on THB?
If we’re going for that type of defender then THB makes so much more sense. I don’t think Guehi will improve that much either.

Or you keep him as your complete reserve CB. Either him or ake. One would have to go. Akanji, Dias, new CB and then josko can fill in when needed and Stones 4th or 5th choiceSo he needs replaced then? Harsh but we need to push forward and go again.
I don't think wage wise it would be smart to have 5 CBs when you also have Gvardiol who can step in.Not really, if we buy a reliable centre back alongside Dias and Gvardiol, then Stones and Ake are both good enough to be good options, and if not playing twice a week or even every week then they will be fine. There are maybe 5 players we are quite likely to lose or let go. We won’t want much more turnover than that if we can help it.
