How could we have “locked in” a midfielder when Rodri got injured? It was late September, after the window had shut.Starting to think that despite City’s briefings to the contrary the 115 are having an impact on recruitment, certainly in January. Why move in January when you could be joining a club about to relegated.
When Rodri got injured we should have locked in a midfielder. Looks like the main targets are missed and we know how badly second choices go. Unless we add a proper DM we won’t make top 4.
Or maybe they are,like it could happen I suppose but it’s also possible it won’t.

Agree a deal for January, get agreement with the club and player for a January move. Only risk is the player getting injured.
