It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Maybe hard, but with the correct amount of determination and commitment it is not impossible - however much people keep saying it.
Nothing is impossible, but if you're a top-level footballer wanted by the top clubs in Europe, you might want to know whether the club will play in the Champions League next season, whether it will still be in the Premier League, and whether the best manager in the world will still be there before signing a multi-year contract. So, don't be surprised if players reported as our targets in January prefer to wait until the summer.

Both Diomande and Akanji could play as a defensive RB. Don’t think we’ll sign two RBs personally
I'm including two because I want them to be Akanji-like defenders, both a RCB and RB.

I mean, we NEED 2 down the line, like I said, the depth simply isn't there. Maybe we don't need all 4 in one go, 2 or 3 quickly, and the 4th eventually down the line (like 1 year or 1.5 years max, waiting too long is negligent by the board).

I kind of look at it as we need 3 "raw' CB's to partner a more attacking LB or RB.

So let's say we get Livramento so we have Gvardiol and him as rotating, then we need ATLEAST 6 solid options for the CBs.

Attacking Fullback: Gvardiol, Livramento

Back 3 Defender: Dias, Akanji, New LCB/LB, New RCB/RB, young Doyle, broken Ake and Stones

I don't think that is "quite" good enough for the back 3 depth. It looks good to have 7 options for 3 spots, but 3 of those options are young or broken.

I think for squad planning, its fine to do it in stages and get just the 3 defenders you outlined asap, but I'd like us to not wait too long to bring in a 4th defender that will be desparately needed when Ake/Stones go in like 2 years (bring in before then).
