Personally think the worst thing we can do is overspend on stop gaps, big name aging player etc.
Any big name player (like Frenkie De Jong) who is available in January is available for a reason, such as poor form or stupidly high wages.
Regardless of Pep only being here for another two years, a rebuild needs to be future proof and considered.
We need young players, players on lower contracts with potential. Nothing we do in January will win us the champions league or get us back in the race for the title.
