We over paid for grealish, whilst I do agree we won't over pay for the sake of it. It's not impossible to find a player good enough to sign in January, you try and see.

Some of this clear out should have begun last summer but here we are with an ageing squad filled with injuries which is apparent for all to see.

Agree. If you cant see the talent and potential this lad has then maybe footballs not for you. He’s still really young for a player. Hes going to be mustard.Gvardiol for 90m was worth it. Even in our poor form he’s coming up with important goals. He’s probably carrying an injury but soldiering on and that’s probably why he hasn’t been as good as he was last season.

Spot on. Time to spend. We need at least 3 top class players in the next 2 windows. Musiala / wiertz type.I don’t get the desperation line. The team badly needs reinforcements. It’s not realistic to expect the club to buy replacements for the likes of Kev while still at the club. Unless we timed his downfall perfectly and already had a player in a season before. It’s just not gonna happen. How would we keep the wage bill down?
The club has record turnover for a reason and that’s due to pitch success. Now it’s time to reinvest back into the team to continue winning.
Teams in Spain/italy will take the money.
We need to stop finding problems. Go and buy who we want. If the recruitment is not correct we will continue to struggle season after season like most clubs.
Penny pinching on elite players is part of the reason we are in this mess.

I'm sure he had treatment at the end of the Cup game vs Spurs and he's been overplayed since. Think he recently said he's absolutely knackered, which is unsurprising as he's asked to do a lot. I think he's superb, just having a few brainfarts due to fatigue
