According to Graeme Bailey for The Boot Room, Manchester City are now eyeing a move to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi from LOSC Lille in 2025.

Dunno where hte general rumours thread went, so drop this here.

Anything less and we are down grading on what we have
 
If the club are looking to rebuild with Pep then it’s most likely going to be with younger top class players already with the ability to become close to world class under Pep like he did with Bernardo, Leroy and Sterling? There are players out there like:

Frimpong
Varela
Baena
Diomande
Nico Williams
Xavi Simons
Zaire-Emery
Wharton

Plus hopefully a Wirtz or Musiala as a worldie to compliment the likes of Rodri, Dias, Gvardiol, Foden, Doku, Savinho and Haaland
 
Surely Alan Valera is the best option.

I think there is a release clause aswel which should make it an easy and quick signing

Reports a City contingent were at the Porto game last night. However , can't read a huge amount into that . It's their job .
