It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

If Pep is saying that publicly we need players badly.. imagine what he is saying privately to them. The total silence about incomings is shocking.. especially as it's already been almost a week and we've known of what positions we need help in since mid October!

Don't forget We have 1 week till we face Brentford and they always expose us in ways West Ham didn't. The 4-1 flattered us.. FLATTERED US. We could have given up 5 easily with how open we were.
We don't conduct our transfer business in public. We know we're in trouble, but we need to beware another Philips or Nunes. Moves like these would only be City lowering the quality of our squad's gene pool, & storing up grief for the immediate future.

No one wants to pay money for Philips, & I reckon there'd be anaemic interest in Nunes for anything near what we paid for him. Add in Pep's public annoyance with 29 year old Grealish, & we've got major issues which need resolving.

Panic buying for the sake of it will achieve nothing. At this juncture, I feel it's best we concentrate on a top 3 finish & focus our energies on the summer. That's the stark reality of our situation IMHO...

But every game has had little improvements and we are unbeaten, We had to stop the losing streak and that mental block we are going to lose again, The Better teams will get more respect in our midfield and Pep will play both Gundogan and Kovacic and one of the wide players will be dropped,

We get Dias and Stones back and maybe Grealish then the possibility of Bobb coming back you never know
Also the other teams are dropping points we are only 4 points outside the top 4

Douglas Luiz on loan reeks of 115.
No it doesnt. You really think the club is going to have anything other than "business as usual" mentality when they're fully insistent on their innocence?

There's not even any precedent for a guilty verdict to even try and second guess what any potential punishment could be to prepare for.

You seem to have been reading too many baseless comments from the clueless who have just decided to will into existence the threat of demotion.

You could even make a case for saying if we did get the worst possible scenario when the verdict comes in and it involves relegation etc, you can easily say the best thing we could do in preparation would be to get signings in beforehand on long term deals so that we can simply loan out players if needs be and/or sell them for the best money possible.

There's not a chance our transfer strategy is dictated by a fear of a punishment that's nothing but fantasy right now for charges we are adamant we are not guilty of.
