Just cannot see City spending 15-30m on this boy, who said he doesn’t want anymore loans hence moving, to get another loan to Girona. City lack attacking options. Could be worth a shot in preseason.

Also makes no sense for him to agree to come to us, then go on loan to Girona when he's already done that and is ready for a permanent move. Atletico rate him highly from what I've seen online was supposed to be the one to replace Griezmann long term.

Riquelme in and Perrone to Girona on loan, probably the move coming
 
Atlético wants 30-35M to sell Rodrigo Riquelme.He will do the preseason. His intention is to stay. But if the offer is good and they don't have him, he could leave. I doubt he's a CFG signing if we pay that.

looks like he has something about him and could be an exciting signing?
 
Definitely has moves, looks like a really nice technical foundation. 23, small physique, I would expect him to still be developing a wiry strength and power. Looks like very good development potential. Yes, I think he's one for us, not Girona. More the sort of talent I expect us to be interested in than Veiga, who has better numbers, is younger... but I think this kid is much more likely to prove high quality.

Thing is.... I thought we were looking at RW. This kid is a Grealish understudy and attacking sub from what I can see. Right footed although he can use his left. Let's see how this pans out.
 
Txiki is caught off guard this window.. Im not convinced. And Riquelme is part of this, I like him as a player though. But I dont think they really expected Gundo to go and is on their heels because of that. Surely Mac Allister etc would have been worked on earlier then. The (obvious) targets are drying up. Bellingham, Szoboslai, Tonali and now Veiga.. even Tielemans really

Definitely a couple of years ago.. not now though. Hes a very Man City/Barca type of player, excellent progression and retention. He fell off though

Just like Maguire, Fred, Pogba etc is also fell through then.

Good thing you are not in charge of our transfer.
