It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

He's improved & I've kept a close eye on him, but I think he'd fall a bit short pf what we need. He's certainly no Mahrez mate & many on here want us to ditch him as they don't think he's good enough... \0/
Get what you're saying blue but he was 16 when we let him go JMO but I think he has the pace we need

Some big moves potentially to our immediate rivals. City need to be careful we don’t stand still. When you are on top, you need to buy in order to stay top 5 seasons later.

We need maybe 1 or 2 midfielders. It’s also time we guide Foden into his role with Kev. He needs to be starting the majority of games in the centre now. In saying all of the above, Phil adapting to become the new 8 would have the biggest impact. Could even see Kev taking up the Gundo role once he leaves.
With Pep around I feel much more relaxed about everything.

I agree you can't stand still, but we've actually had a reasonable amount of turnover in the last few seasons, and there's just no way he'd let standards slip. Laporte and either/both of Gundo and Bernardo are likely to leave, so we will be making moves again.

I'm also relaxed that there are plenty of players out there good enough to come into this team, who will look like world beaters under Pep. The fact that so many of our current line up were second/third choice transfers, says a lot.

Curious window, this. Only real links to Gvardiol and Kovacic, but a potential exodus. Even the lack of comms re Bellingham is weird
