That’s my worry, I think Kovacic is coming in for Gundo or Bern. I know the “squad depth” stuff City put through their media bods which at the time they would say that.

Kovacic is a completely different player to Gundo and Bernardo which is interesting, Kovacic is a transition player can start counter attacks when his teams won possession, driving the ball up the pitch by himself. Shrugging off challenges etc. Creating space with high speed dribbling.

Does it for Croatia and Chelsea under Tuchel.

Kovacic ball control and possession is up there for me and with pep coaching he will bring a lot to our team

Such a shame we missed out on Bellingham. With Bellingham and Kovacic we wouldn't have to worry about the situations with Gundogan and Bernardo.
