Spare a thought for Ake. Agreed terms with Chelsea last summer, was ready for the move had they offered the club enough. Respected City's price and timeframe limit, and happily committed to stay and fight for his place. Could have had 4 different managers, and finished 12th in the table. Instead he has the treble that he played a key part in.

I think our problem is that because we love Pep we do the following :

1- If its good signing we give credit to Pep
2- If its bad signing we look for someone else to blame other than Pep


I understand that he is human and allowed to have mistakes sometimes :)


For Kalvin Philips, Pep needs to make a decision whether to trust him next season or cut the club losses.

I just think that if it was a pep influenced signing he’d really be trying to get more out of him. Everyone says about Jack, pep persisted. Phillips minutes and involvements have been worryingly low.
