It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Expensive even with the Champions League prize money. It is getting that signing near enough perfect is the tricky part.
City did scout Otavio some time back but that died down. Getting that winger is gonna be hard as hell considering the market... The market for CMs and right-wingers are dry.

If we are to lose both Bernie and Mahrez then you'd have to imagine that's ~£100mil into our kitty, at least. A potential big name attacker to arrive?

40m on mahrez, plus wages from two BIG stars... Massive money there alone. Foden and McAtee being centrally help City to focus on the just the wingers.

There are no "big" names out there sadly.

Why the fuck wouldn't we require a fee? Strange comment

£60m ta very much
Market value, contractual terms and return on investment are what determine the transfer fee. City will act in a fair and classy way, I'm sure.

Flip Mahrez for £25/£30m and get Kulusevski for £35m. That for me is a no brainer. 9 years younger and very similar profile.

The issue I have is where Phil plays because wherever that is he NEEDS to start. None of this fuckin around in 3 positions anymore. If Pep sees him as a winger he needs to commit to a side and make sure he’s first choice on that wing. If he sees him in the KDB role (which imo is his best role moving forward) that’s a slight issues because it means rotating with Kev. You want them both on the pitch at the same time.

Phil is a midfielder. Hes gonna go in centrally next season, for sure. We saw in the final evidence of that.

But that leaves City with two wingers short on the right.

McAtee isn't the worst of suggestions but similar to the Cole Palmer situation game time is an issue

Exactly. But my worry is based on the outgoings this summer and the small squad anyway Phil is going to be asked yet again to juggle multiple positions. Fucks me off to be honest.
