Lique 1 isn't even in the top five best leagues in Europe anymore. That said, any league where you keep score and there are winners and losers can be called a "competitive league " so I suppose he isn't technically wrong.

I don't think we will sign anyone else after Gvardiol if Bernie stays,well maybe a suprise cheap deal to keep us ticking over.
Think if that’s the case which would be great! We’d still sign a winger but that would be it.
Cancelo replaced, Gvardiol comes in for Laporte. Mahrez going can’t be slept on.

Mahrez and Walker will be replaced and Bernardo still likely to go (unfortunately) and to be replaced. Gvardiol is replacement for Laporte who’s also on the way out. It’s how I read it. There’s still over a month of the transfer window, no one needs to panic.

I don’t think he thinks he’s superior I just believe he doesn’t like any dissing of the club or players in any sense.

I don’t get why people have this obsession with Barcelona when it comes to Bernardo. For me it’s always been PSG that would come in for him, until the Saudi wave came as well. I wouldn’t be so sure these Saudi offers will be indefinitely on the table.
Some PSG fans on twitter think the loaning of Xavi Simons means they will go big for Bernardo soon
