I think the market has really messed us up. We are trying to find value in a crazy market. I reckon we didn’t think Rice would go for that much , now I reckon we didn’t think Paqueta would be this much.
Players that were 50 to 60 million are no longer that price. They are 80 to 100 million. It’s not going to stop either Prem money etc you’re going to have to spend vast amounts in one player due to price increases.
Then we need to wise up. Been going this way for a few windows and we have rivals willing to meet those prices.I think the market has really messed us up. Wirtz for roughly £80m would be really nice :-)
has he gone or is this a rumour?Perrone gone out on loan to Las Palmas. Sounds like a nice all-inclusive beach resort. We will add a midfielder and a winger. You can doubt it but do not fear. Best team in the land.
No chance. £100m minimumWirtz for roughly £80m would be really nice :-)
Transfer window? Can’t even get a trial..This your first transfer window pal?
The one summer we could and should though mate? Our current net spend is next to nothing and we could still lost Laporte, Cancelo, Palmer, Doyle, THB and some younger players for decent money? Huge savings on wages as well i would imagine.
yeah mate should have predicted the future and bought a Mahrez replacement before we knew he wanted to go...This has been a piss poor, reactive and incoherent transfer window off the back of a treble.
