To be fair our form is relegation tier itself. Only way to improve performances and make top 4 is by adding quality. The injuries aren’t going to get sorted any soon.

Ben Chilwell has been frozen out at Chelsea. He is a decent left back, can play wing back and is a good crosser of the ball. I think he’s better than Cucurella and could do a job for us.

If we don't we won't make top 4, and we'll struggle at the world club thingy.
I hark back to the 80s when we targeted 3 players, Tommy Hutchison who was getting on a bit, Gerry Gow a journeyman and Bobby McDonald who was nothing special. But they were positions we needed filled and they improved the team immediately.
