maybe some players will look that pep is here for only two more season's and dont want to sign 5/6 year contracts or because it's always pissing down in mcr lol

Ive not been keeping up with he transfer window so can someone tell me why a player like De Ligt who is going for between 60-70m is cheaper than McGuire who isn't as good.
Why also would De Ligt go to Juve (if the rumours are true) when he could go to the Prem league of Spanish leagues?
Why (If the quoted prices are correct) are we not all over De Ligt who we could have for the same price , or near enough, as McGuire...is it about wages, dealing with certain agents?
If DeLigt was considered a reasonable price deal, every major club would be talking to him.
It appears only a very few are. That has to be due to the fat ****'s involvement.

There’s a lot of confusion over what makes a player worth what, and many posters are seemingly busy comparing ages, experience & skill levels then getting giddy when a foreign star has a lower conceived value than a perhaps lesser English / home grown player . . while blindly ignoring the well known quota effect.
It’s plain to see (IMO)that DeLigt has more going for him in on the pitch footballing terms, than Maguire, and if he were English then he’d be worth much more than Maguire - but he’s not and there’s a supply & demand reality that some posters are naive enough to ignore or are perhaps deliberately ignoring so that they have an excuse to have a good squeal about it.

He might be 'worth' more than Maguire, if he was English, but with that fat ****'s involvement, it's doubtful anyone here would pay the rate.
In fact, a modern day version of the pre Glazer, Ferguson's Utd would be the most likely, if any, as they actually liked to force up transfer fees & wages, to wipe out opposition.
