It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

This looks like it could be the first time we’ve won the league and subsequently overhaul our squad.

Previously post title winning seasons we’ve largely kept our powder dry.

This summer with a transfer ban looming and a number of players looking to move on we have no choice.

So far it looks as though Otamendi, Danilo, Delph and of course Mangala are out. Kompany, Silva, Sane, Bravo and Gundogan could also leave. That’s before replacing Fernandinho.

That would be 7 players who with over 150 appearances between them plus 2 who have been injured all season.

Hopefully Kompany, Sane, Gundogan and Silva all stay but even still we’d need a new centre back, one possibly 2 full backs, a sub keeper and midfielder or two.

Summer could be extraordinarily busy and some ways quite sad bringing us the end of our first premier league winning side (bar Sergio).

Would be a real shame but time waits for no man, if he believes he can manage his body and injuries and so believes he should be playing in 20/30+ games a year then good luck to him. Pep can't offer him that.
Thing is if a ban is coming then we need to get Vinnies replacement in this window, he can't be relied on for two more years. Vinny will understand that as well as anyone. If no ban was threatened he could probably do 1 more year.

Of all the transfer rumors around at present there's on that is more

than Messi to City.

Nahhh....but this is thread to discuss that

Don't think Txiki will even bother though

He was talking about rashford

Personally , not good enough

Maybe people find it shocking because he hasn't told us anything of the sort.
Actually you have no idea what he's said (and neither do I). Lets look at the facts though.

He's barely played the second half of this season despite being fit, and clearly has something going on with Pep. We've been trying to get him to sign a new deal for some time, and he hasn't thus far. But his contract runs until 2021 right!? Well yes, but the club a. doesn't want to let players go into the last year of their deals without having signed a new one, and b. needs to plan for the possibility that we'll get a two window transfer ban starting January. If we go beyond this window without selling, and then have to sit out the next two, we're in the unenviable position of either being forced to give him whatever his agents can dream up to stay, or, oh look, Bayern just signed him on a pre-contract in January 2021. Good deal.

Would be seriously pissed if Sane left. With KdB back next season he would be getting a lot more action down the wing
Surely he would be getting less as Bernardo would be fixture on the right if KDB is back and Sterling on the right.
