It's Quiet 9 - maybe just maybe

There's a very very strong rumour doing the rounds that Wesley Sneijder arrived in Manchester yesterday. Trying to get some more info at the moment...

A decent signing for us but ideal for the Rags......

Could be linked to Tevez moving there .... could be something completely separate. Could well be bollocks. Hard to know until the person I know who said puts some meat on the bones of who told him!

I believe it would be a more attractive proposition to Mancini if he was part of the Tevez saga,it would also appeal to Inter as their wage bill wouldn't alter dramatically. Finally,Tevez himself may like the idea as once again he would be the big fish.....

I cant imagine Utd not making any "important" signings this window, particularly after the promises made to Rooney.

Here's why he's not as ideal for the rags as people make out ....

A very decent and intelligent article, however,i reckon the'd find accomodation..... and i still think he's high on their shopping list,if not only to make a statement and steady the boat - have they the finance though?

Totally agree. Sneijder is a bad option for them, he doesn't fit their style unless they build a team around him. He plays the Rooney role. I have a feeling that their bids were made when they had strong hopes for the "Rooney as a CM" experiment that they tried. Unfortunately for them, Rooney was terrible in CM and has no future there.
