Im really not arsed either way but how on earth does posting clues to possible signings protect his job ? If they are solved then the transfer happens then there is no difference if he just posted the info. Then maybe they really dont mean anything and some people just enjoy trying to make something of them. Each to his / her own but i dont buy this protecting his job and identity stuff. There is no logic in that view.

It truly doesn't. Tolmie has hadn't any info of worth in over a year.


Most of his predictions are Nostradamus like.. Cryptic but at the at the same time made with common sense. Anyone who pays their bills knows we can't sign new players unless we unload our biggest wage getter. Last summer he 'predicted' that we'd only get either one of Nasri or Sneijder, not both, but maybe neither. It's fool proof.

Fact is there isn't a certain person in the media who is more in the know than the other, what would a journo get from withholding information and syphening it back to a fan forum.

It's all conjecture mate, but it's all done in fun I suppose.

Would be over the moon if this happened but really can't see a massive deal being done with only 4 days left of the transfer window. Summer will do for me..

bring back tevez, mancini has to play the long game. We need a striker an once on the pitch he gives his all. Fans can say what they like but if he starts scoring all will be forgotten if not forgiven. If it helps us to the title it will be a means to an end. Mancini wants his own team but like AVB at chelsea it cant be done in one swoop

Yep,the trickle down effect of clubs like us spending is massive for smaller clubs. Well done Michel and all the elite clubs that are shit scared of us.
 
They will all be crying soon enough, mark my words. Sky won't be happy because the transfer windows are their big showcase every year. Its been a dreary bag of arse so far. Where will the cash come from to fund player development ? Sponsors will be running for the hills when there are no box office players around earning big money

I think that was a tongue in cheek throw away remark.... Might be true though - I think they'd be excellent signings but we have to start letting people go to bring in more quality and we need to get the right balance of players prepared to accept rotation.
