Can someone just confirm that this is a transfer speculation thread? "Speculation" being the important word. Tolmie fbloke among others bring snippets of information that may or may not be true. Choosing whether to believe them is up to you. Coming on abusing people for giving these snippets is just plain stupid.

If you don't want to read it jog on to another forum.

He said we were interested in all the players above, and as I understood it we have made our interest known to the clubs in question. That's it. He's not saying we're getting them.

FWIW, I don't doubt at all that we've put in a bid for Ronaldo. If you want to make the best team in the world and have realistically no credit limit on your card, you'll want to get the best players in the world. Ronaldo won't sign for us of course, but that's not to say we haven't been trying (this is where most tolmie haters get all confused - Not saying you are one of course!).

Tolmie, has there been any transfer related news regarding Ade and RSC, considering that they are doing pretty well in their respective teams?
Has the clubs come forward looking to make the loan move permanent (or any other club), or will a deal happen only in the summer?

They CAN have him on loan. Our issue isn't that we're not prepared to send him out on loan, but that there has to be a permanent deal at the end of it, and the price must be right.

If Milan offered us a half-season loan plus £25m in the summer than we'll accept.

Yeah I know but they are not willing to do that I'm just saying they sticking around thinking we will change our minds I can't see it though
 
I think the lack of activity by the finanically rich sides in the Prem and other top European leagues is the root cause of the slow transfer window. Of course, this shows how reliable lower league/less financially rich clubs are on the spenders during the window...and with the intro of FFP, well, I fear for clubs going forward....
