Well, if we don't win the league he'll be able to say "told you so". Maybe that's part of it?

I have to say, much as I support the idea of us having another goalscorer, we definitely have the strongest squad now. Time for Pep to prove his worth.

No-one ! Honestly thats my opinion.Far too late now to start talks with any other top quality player as they tend to drag on for weeks and months.I reckon Pep will persist with who he has and will probably play Sterling in a more centre forward role,if the need arises.

Agree. Pep flirted with this at times last season, but Raz might be more suited to the false 9 role this time around, as he sèems to have bulked up quite a bìt, in the cĺose season and wont be bullied off the ball so easily.
.... For the record I still believe someone else (A forward) will come in before the window closes....

The only thing I picked up was the true enemy yet to be revealed - assuming that was a genuine clue not someone guessing.

If so then PSG are not a threat, nor Arsenal's intransigence but something unforeseen.

United, if they persuade Madrid to sell Bale tonight and then buy Mbappe becomes the true enemy. As they become our biggest threat in the PL and cost us the player we have been close to persuading.

Our business Is clearly nearly done yet none of the usual guess merchants and chancers have got close before the wider media have been all over it.

There are a few on here who are genuinely ITK but what marks them out is they don't guess and drop hints.
