It's Quiet - a new dawn

Bournemouth didn't play an open game Saturday, in my opinion. They shut up shop after going ahead and it nearly worked for them.

Total change of philosophy from Eddie Howe, one which I totally understand after we have hammered them nearly every game since they came up.

I'm questioning how anyone who watched that Bournemouth game could actually say they were open! They came out for the first 20 minutes, got their lucky goal and set up camp in their box.

I think we played it perfectly with the timing of the first bid. We know he wants to leave now, and £50m is not a bid we expected to be accepted at all. Arsenal have to sleep on it , uncomfortably, knowing that their best option now is to sell and a new offer is coming, Sanchez is miles and miles away so they can't be in his ear and likely he's already said his piece to them - I want to go to City, I'm off to Chile now for a few days at a closed camp so you may not be able to reach me Arsene. If they bid tell my agent so I can get a medical and contract sorted.

They should be more concerned with who they bring in, I can not see us giving them a forward in return at all so they should be looking around or they'll have a huge backlash come Friday morning.

Imagine Arsenal said £70m, we'll suggest meeting in the middle then top it up to £65m to get it done. Everything says tomorrow for me, though if Sanchez is taking 24 hours off from international duty from this morning then hopefully sooner.

If Oxlade-Chamberlain holds out for his desired move to Liverpool next season, on a free, then Arsenal are staring at losing well over 100 million if Sanchez isn't sold in the next few days.
Our leverage improves if that falls through. Getting £40m for Ox was fantastic business.

This thread would easily be 3000 pages if tolmie posted the updates here instead of Alexis thread.

So tolmie give us the gold you promised on combined pages of both threads :)

Sterling is staying, I'm sure. There was also talk of a mystery third player? And you forgot Mangala out if Evans is coming in.

if we get Sanchez. We'll have the best attack in the world IMO. At least on paper.

While JFE will take our defence to new heights. Only real question is.....will our midfield pivot Fernandinho/Gundogan/Yaya offer enough defensive protection? Has to be our priority next summer.

If the ón paper´includes being able to shoot straight then there is no problem because the odd defensive mistake wont matter.

So 37 hours left and we are still chasing Sanchez and Evans.

There is also possible moves for Delph, Bony, Mangala, Denayer, Zinchenko and a loan for Tosin.

Busy hours ahead.
