Leave tanks parked on the Emirates forecourt and turn our sights on Southampton and VVD?

I think if we get Mendy in, then VVD is the final piece of the jigsaw? Sanchez would be a bonus

One point of confusion is are we still in for Walker. I'd be tempted to go for VVD instead. We would have Alves, maffeo and Fernandinho and could return to transfer mkt if need be in 12 months.
 
Transfer rumors are so fucking easy to invent. 80% of the ones we see have no factual basis whatsoever.

That took me two minutes and I bet someone somewhere would believe them.
