Because Fabinho doesn't have the creativity that is essential to a DM in Peps system think about a Xabi Alonso. Busquets, Weigl, Diawara, Yaya etc. Those are the type of players Pep wants as a DM, players that in general are a little less defensively sound but exceptional in possesion

Looks like we are going to need to be ultra patient. Can see Walker, Mendy, Bertrand and Sanchez all dragging on into late August. Top players at clubs who want to extract the last dollar out of us. Everyday average players are going for higher and higher fees and we are trying to buy some of the very best from reluctant sellars. Deals may be agreed with players but I don't think we have any agreements with clubs and whilst we will prevailn the end some or all of these deals could drag on all summer.
