Fernando seems a decent, unassuming guy, unlike one or two others we could mention. If he's taking a cut in order to revitalise his career, all credit to him.

If we were to bring in a new DM, wouldn't we have made it a priority and signed one, or at least be in serious negotiations by now? Wouldn't Pep want a new DM to be available for most of pre season? Its not the sort of position where a newcomer could be expected to slot into the starting eleven seamlessly.
