Part of the enjoyment of this thread is to take in opinions / views / gossip ABOUT POSSIBLE TRANSFERS - if it was only to get news of transfers once they were confirmed, people could check out the BBC website

It is just that the threads get cluttered with people indulging themselves in, what I am sure seem humorous to them at the time, but absolutely not for someone that is 'watching' the thread and logs in to see that 10 pages have been added since the last visit. You want to 'feel' how things have unfolded so you want to read through - but then you just fine pages of irrelevant bollocks

Anyway - that will be my last word on the subject as I do not want to contribute to the frustration level of other people by causing them to see pages of people debating distraction from threads.................

How much actual interesting discussion would there be ?

Someone says we're signing a player. Bunch go 'whoopee' bunch go 'doh'. Some playstation twat comes up with a few random alternatives. A couple of sad ****s have a go at the itk.

Then a month of weirdos panicking he hasn't signed, some utter ****s slag off Txki. Load of false sightings, then he signs, or doesn't, hence more 'whoopees' & 'doh's.

Not exactly blockbuster entertainment.

More interesting stuff comes up as a sidetrack imo.

Yes he would, he's got a year left on his contract, supposedly going to Bayern on a free. Maybe a £25-30mil bid would do it?

He's a ball retainer in the midfield.

Has definitely played DM before.

He's generally known as a ball retained but he's also played #10 and in the confed cup showed he's got the talent to break forwards and contribute in front of goal as well.

Absolutely brilliant player, one who was a massive prospect at 18, went quiet for a couple of years and then has finally started playing like people said he could at 21. I think the german press say he's nailed on to go to Bayern on a free next year, so getting him would be difficult.

Last year of his contract, so wouldn't break the bank, the problem is Schalke's CEO has said he's definitely staying put, and if they have to lose him on a free like Kolasinac and Matip then so be it.
