For me, it doesn't matter if we pay the original 18m we bid or the 30m quoted by West Brom. He's already 29 and may be we with us until he's 31. Either way, we'll be lucky to get 15m for him at that point in time. There haven't been any other links/rumors about other targets, so I'm guessing Pep has found someone who is good enough to learn the role and rise to the occasion if needed. He's not the shiniest toy on the shelf, but if Pep thinks he's good enough to do the job, then we'll have to take his word for it.
