Yaya hasn't played a single minute yet, Ilky hopefully fit soon.....not opposed to it at all and Ive been saying we need another midfielder but a centre half and a left back are so much more of a priority with a budget in mind

If Pep is going to persist with overloading the attacking spaces, we are desperate for a pure defensive screen holding midfielder and that's not Gundogan, or Sanches, is my opinion.

Both Kompany and Otamendi are picking up needless bookings because they are square on, with no protection in front.

Henderson does the job for Liverpool and Chelsea have Kante.

The perfect player would be a version of Bayern's Vidal.

Been saying the same thing for the last 2 seasons.......its why we give away easy goals....the way pep sets out his teams (with no one screening the centre halves) are whole back line is wide open. cant see him changing this however

We're essentially a back five when we play a three?

I would love to take a look at Stones because as things stand, we have spent £50m on a central defender who is not going to get the opportunities to build up a run of games and hone his talents.

Stones is quick, he's tall, he can tackle and, most importantly, he's a Rolls Royce when it comes to passing through the midfield if his confidence is up.

Funnily enough, Southgate has hinted that he could do it, and he's a former central defender.
