Despite the arguments about the transfer window being closed BEFORE the season starts , can anyone imagine that there would be any less activity on the last day possible ?

Frantic last minute deals happen every window , irrespective of when it closes. Transfer windows help stoke the prices up imo .

I would agree if the buying club are desperate for a player but the opposite could be said where the player wants to leave and would disrupt the dressing room if he stayed.
