It's Quiet - a new dawn

Think we will struggle to score like last season. As good as Aguero and Jesus are our front 3 don't have enough goals in them as a collective and Sterling in particular still makes bad decisions when through on goal. Also having only 6 defenders is worrysome.

Honest question:
Do people who believe that City left this until the final day believe that... contact can be made with an agent, the agent then sells his player the idea of moving to a certain club,a contract can be drawn up based on said contact, the contract is sent to the agent, read, adjustments made, sent back(xN), agreed to, contact is made with the selling club, offers are rebuffed, other offers made, legal papers drawn up again, modified and sent back and forth (xN), agreed to, physical done, papers signed.... ?
Do you really think that these deals aren't the product of weeks (more likely months) of work?

I wouldn't say its full of goals tbh. Bernardo, KDB, Silva, Sterling and Sane barely have got past 10 goal mark. Silva has once it once in his career, Sane never, Sterling once I think. G. Jesus has missed big chances this season too. Its going to be difficult again as last year to score goals I think.

What can Pep do when players refuse to shoot the ball inside the 6 yard box?

His job? If something isn't working it's his job to get it to work. Be that a formation change or something that needs changing in training. I'm tired of seeing excuses like "Pep can't make them score". Mancini and Pellegrini never got the benefit of these excuses and Pep shouldn't either. He has a hell of a squad, he has the best facilities money can buy and he's one of the top paid managers in football. He either gets results out of these players or he goes down as a failure. No more excuses.

Bla bla bla. I wrote what I think. Kompany will not be fit for the all season, right? Stones and Otamendi look very bad togther, right?
You all wanted Sanchez so much for a reason, now he is off you saying how good our roster and we dont need another players. Mangala staying but its not like Pep wanted him so I think we still short
Re read your post and reflect for a moment - hopefully you will see it is shite and many have pulled you up on it

I dont think is is as black and white as that. He can prepare the team perfectly leading up to a match, but once the players cross the white line, they take on most of the responsibility for discharging their orders.

Agree, Pep can't make them score 20 goals all of a sudden. Majority of them have barely got past 10 goal mark in their careers!

Good work. You know I'm right though.
I don't though. I think all this means we'll rotate less which I prefer. Granted if we get injuries to 2 full backs and 2 centre backs we're fucked, but that'd be pretty bad luck. I think the squad is pretty perfect. We've players who can fill in many positions who effectively make the squad larger such as Danilo, fernandinho, etc so I think we're more than fine baring freekish injuries. We've no choice than to presume vinny will be fine this season. It's either believe that or bin him. As it is if we play 4 at the back stones or otta miss out anyway. And yaya, fern, Danilo and gunda is mor than enough for one holding role. So I'm right haha

I think we may regret letting nacho go now we haven't got another striker in. Not saying he was a world beater but his record for us was decent and he would've been an option in the cups and if we pick up injuries to aguero and Jesus.
