Sam is pretty decent and himself tweeted that transfer plans were clearly set by city a week or so.... And things changed slightly this week and hence he was veering all over the place. Not perfect but a good city source.

I think the basic problem is that reporters, ITK's etc all get lied to be agents and players. Or get told half truths "Player X wants to join club Y" when player X wants to join either club Y or club Z.
