It's Quiet - a new dawn

Was a big fan of Txiki when we brought him in and he's made some great signings (first summer a huge success, Sterling, Sané, Jesus, De Bruyne, Nacho etc). He's not hit the heights overall that I hoped he would and I know you're not a fan, but you're being far too hasty there. He's getting judged against a period where we were going out and spending the current equivalent of 50-70m on every signing and paying them all like world superstars.
He is also responsible for the worst summer in the history in 2012,players like Rodwell, Savic,Fernardo, Nolito?.
Waste a lot of money to find a new solid CB and failed. Lost Hazard, Van Persie, Sanchez, Dybala, Laporte, etc.
Still no replace for YAYA, Kolarov, Zaba, Kompany and Hart also.
Allways paying overprice and sell for very low price. I think this summer should be the last chance for him. Semedo, Alex Sandro, Ederson, Sanchez, Fabinho and a CB. Thats all he need to do

Shit happens.......sling it.

We signed Savic in 2011 and Txiki started working at City for the 2013 window. He had nothing to do with Van Persie or Hazard. I've corrected you on this before as well so you're well out of order here.

Any rumours on goal keepers, heard a whisper on Butland, don't know if any truth in it.

Dahoud and Tielemans have both gone elsewhere now for peanuts. Players like Goretzka will undoubtedly do the same.

All whilst we waste our time getting Neymar a pay rise

1st signing should be a new DOF

have you ever thought that them players just didn't want to come here?

Txiki joined October 2012 in post after Rodwell, Van Persie, Hazard. Need to check your facts fella.

When have you seen Bayern? Lahm struggled a lot with the way Ancelotti wants the fullback to be played. Not inverted anymore like with Pep what fitted his profile now and age great - but again as permanent runner going up and down the wing all the time.

That might be one of the reasons why he retires a year earlier. That he does shows for me that there are some things not running great that we do not even know...

Just the champions league matches on tv. But Lahm always looks excellent, at full back or in midfield.

I'd love to have him at City!

It just seems such a waste him retiring when he's probably still one of the best full backs in the world.
