It's Quiet - a new dawn

I just think there's an obvious reluctance to think about Aguero leaving from some people so any player who may cause that is immediately talked down.

Fabinho isn't quite as close as I think the Spanish journalist intimated. But we're definitely definitely in for him which is huge in and of itself. Would be a top signing.

Agree, as good as Sergio has been, if the manager decides to move the player on then you trust his judgement. This is a man who wasn't afraid to get rid of Ibra after a season. He's a manager who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to make tough decisions.

The Fabinho news is very good. His flexibility could be a huge plus for us. Romero does usually have a very good track record and is close with the Guardiola camp. As you say, he'd be a terrific signing. Just hope the difference of Manchester to Monte Carlo isn't as big of an issue ;).

The problem I've got with it is selling Aguero to make it happen. I'd be comfortable letting him go for Messi but neither Sanchez or Neymar would do it for me. That's not to say I don't rate either of them, they are both very good players and if it happened it's not the end of world. I just wouldn't agree it was the correct move.

No I wouldn't swap Aguero for Neymar no way. I didn't read properly was just quickly reading through and seen that posters are talking about him, didn't see the Aguero bit my bad.

It does but not instead of signing a world class superstar! Next season, imagine having to go to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates needing a win, who would you rather we line up with, Neymar or Patrick Roberts!?
Neymar of course.

Strange that Barca is briefing about Neymar's party lifestyle. Why have we never heard about this before? Reports of him getting into a heated argument with one of the coaches as well. Reports today that Neymar's father is advising him to leave Barca to finally get out of Messi's shadow.

Hurt- Aguero leaving.
Last to know- Neymar coming, we've been linked with Mbappe countless times but not Neymar (often linked to rags).

He would be an amazing signing, bringing us on another football and marketing level. All of Brazil would become City fans. As for Sane, Sterling this signing can only be good for them, it will force them to improve or be left out dry. Both have quite inconsistent this season, Neymar is a massive wake up call. If this deal is possible, we'll be more than interested. Like I said before it wouldn't be too crazy to see Aguero go the other way, maybe Messi is even leveraging his contract negotiations by asking for his best friend to come.

I am sure we would be ahead of the rags in his pursuit. We have a few Brazilians already and his good friend G. Jesus. Fabinho is also reportedly coming.

Left back?

Absolutely not, he's far too good as an attacker. Sané would just be rotated like most of the squad, we'll have about 60 games next season at least, with the usual injuries, fitness, suspensions. We saw this season our back ups are shit, if we play a CL game midweek then a tough league fixture 3 days later we need every player to be good enough all season.

The bigger issue with Fabinho is simply which Manchester club he joins. We both want him badly and he has great offers from both.

On Aguero, I don't see him going anywhere this summer for various reasons. But that's just my opinion and everything that Pep's said about Kun, he more or less said about Eto'o right before flitting him for Ibra.

Barca want the money IMO. They'll also be petrified of Messi pulling the plug and not signing his new deal. I reckon they'll think the best way to proceed is to sell Neymar. To that end they'll happy for the lifestyle stories to filter out. Softening the supporters up.

If we want him we have to outbid those bastards.

Dont forget it's been reported in the past that he prefers to come here, hes the type of player we're desperate for, and his flexibility as I've said would be huge.

Regarding Aguero, I feel the same. He's most likely not going to leave, and the West Brom game showed he's finally getting it. That said, Pep once said "I wish I had a thousand Dante's", a week later he was sold to Wolfsburg.
