It's Quiet - a new dawn

The whole point of all Peps attacking signings is that they're completely interchangeable and can all operate within the three attacking positions. It's frightening how good we'll be going forward.
Absolutely; if we can get our back line sorted then we have a good chance of doing something special next year

sounds besides ederson that any other business could take a little while?

To an extent, yes. I think Mendy will be through the door before the end of next week, quite comfortably.

Walker is a done deal, but Spurs will ride that out until such times as some signings start to come in to placate the fanbase.
Sanchez, IMO, is knocking but Arsenal will try and sabotage it at every turn. As @tolmie's hairdoo said, if he does his part then he'll be ours.

The real issue thereafter is CB and DM. I expect the spotlight to shine more on CB, MEN again confirming today that Pep plans to buy one, over the next few weeks.

In short: it's not even June and we already have two of the most sought after talents in football on the books. We can afford to be a bit more patient for the rest. It's a long summer ;)

I am still a little concerned that there have not been any real links recently to centrebacks...

I wouldn't say no real links, the widely cited trinity of Van Dijk, Bonucci and Laporte have been mentioned for some time by the media, including today.
I think things will become clearer once the CL final is over and focus moves away from Ederson/Mendy

Can't see bonucci ever leaving juve in all honesty. I'd absolutely love him at the club but not sure it will happen

I agree, the ship may have sailed. Still it's his last chance for a move, a pay bump and a change. I'm not sure that's enough to have him uproot, but you never know.

am I the only one who doesn't want Sanchez?

I just can't see how we could possibly justify it unless Aguero Leaves. There's no way Pep should consider benching Sane for large chunks of the season - he's got the potential to be the very best.

I've definitely heard more 'oil' comments and 'cheque book manager' shite being spouted recently. Mainly from rags.

Basically we are full on overhauling this squad and it's long overdue. We have released the dead wood and I'm sure others will follow. We are addressing the problem positions, and all with young, top quality talent.

It's also being over seen by Pep who will likely sign an extension.

People are absolutely terrified.

They're just jealous that we're getting our shit done quick.

That's one that bothers me, but in reality I think you'd see Jesus and Aguero sharing central striking duties - for me Jesus looked absolutely wasted out right in the last couple of games. If Aguero stays (bloody hope so) he'll be well aware he'll be rotated more next season.
