Neymar's not coming - but we aren't selling Kun and we're buying a world class forward (Sanchez most likely). Squad is being built to win multiple titles every year and compete with the likes of Barca and Bayern. People should stop worrying about us having too many top players. We probably will this upcoming season but after the season Pep's just had I'm not surprised.
Exactly!!! I believe everyone will play and we can then put out a very strong team for every game. Elite teams like Bayern, Real, Juve and less so Barca have strong benches.
I hope you and the others are right on Sanchez. Would be an amazing signing that takes us to another level. Heard anything on the CB front? Maybe it could be another surprise type signing? Pep said in one of his press conferences that we are likely to get someone given Kompany's injury record.
If Pep gets what he wants then from the start Aguero & Sterling will be benched.
There is not a chance he will make over 100 changes like he has this season.
Aguero knows this & if if Sanchez does sign then I honestly think it's game on or game up for Sergio..
Just imagine trying to pick 5 from
Sane, Sterling, Silva,Silva, KDB,Aguero, Jesus & Sanchez
Then 1 from Fabinio, Dino, Yaya or Gundagun
No a problem, mate—things are definitely shifting pretty quickly as of late.
The other side to my argument, for clarity's sake, is that we have to have some English/HG players both for squad rules and PR/Marketing purposes. There aren't many top class English players out there (despite what some deluded United supporters might say) so we shouldn't be selling ours.
Wouldn't we all.Quality player when he's not on the floor but i'd rather have Sanchez

No idea who the CB will be. The silence makes me think maybe they think if Juve win the CL Bonucci is gettable and hence they wanna see how that plays out before doing anything else.
I would say he is the best striker in the Prem by name only.
Apart from the last couple of months he has been just above average, he now knows he is in a fight to start for City something he & us fans haven't seen from when he 1st came.
If Pep is going to put his reputation on the line 1-11 players need to go way beyond there normal shift especially against the top 5 teams.
Pep will be ruthless no matter what you or anyone thinks Aguero is no safer than all the rest.
Sterling & Aguero need a good Summer IMO. Below is what will start IMO. It's a long season so players will get minutes but will they want 2-3 weeks on a bench if we are winning??? If Sanchez signs wow that would be interesting then it could see Sergio moving on...you may see Merlin taking a few games off & used sparingly, Sane is another player who needs to work way way harder without the ball.
B Silva KDB D Silva Sane
Jesus
Yes I do. Autocorrect strikes again.you mean infernal?
Cheers. It does make sense, I believe Bonucci had some issues with Allegri as well although they did make up, there could still be some tension there behind the scenes. Looks like Allegri will extend his contract at Juve. Bonucci would be an amazing signing. If we don't get him I think Virgil Van Dijk would also be great. Knows the league, and is similar to Kompany in build and skill set, is captain of his club as well. The only issue is his injury this season, which can be seen as a risk. Just saw on twitter that he posted a video of his recovery process though. Started running and working with the ball again which is good. Buying him and Walker would make the transitional phase of our defense a bit shorter given they both know the league. VVD also got a City shirt for his secret santa which I thought was odd, but could very well mean nothing. Either VVD or Bonucci would be a dream.

Totally agree. VVD or Bonucci on top of the likes of Walker, Sanchez, Mendy, Silva is honestly just pure filth. Our team next season is going to be insane.
Not really, except people are still expecting a centerback signing because of past comments from Pep. A new signing is expected to be made official tomorrow (probably Mendy).

Manchester City have made a €130m (£114m) bid for Kylian Mbappé, which Real Madrid have matched. [Téléfoot]
I think sane and sterling will be dropped for some matches. They are both young and sane most notably looked absolutely knackered at the fa cup semi final.Just don't see how all these attacking players will fit in the team and be happy.
Sanchez doesn't like to be on the bench (most players don't but you can see his frustration) Aguero doesn't, Sané cannot be dropped nor Gabriel. Add in the likes of Silva and De Bruyne and Bernando and it's impossible!
