its scary AD it really is. The club have known walkers fee etc for a while now but whats the harm for a few weeks trying to get a few million off or structuring the deal to save some money?

Very good point. I guess nobody actually knows what is taking time regarding Walker. Perhaps it is not even the fee itself being discussed but rather the payment modalities. Yet everyone seems convinced that the fee, which we don't know, is too high. In fact come to think of it, we may never know which fee will be paid, as it will not be published explicitly.
 
I have noticed two days ago it was being reported as £45m today in alot of news outlets it is reported as £50m I look forward t tomorrows £55m truth is those that know wont tell what the fee really was

Good posts from both. I'm sure all parties have known for quite some time what the fee wil actuallyl be and it's all posturing.

I love this time of year. Beautiful game, almost as much as the real thing IMO.

Who knows, it might all be settled already and the clubs have agreed to wait for the bloody transfer window to open before announcing anything in public

Thanks mate. Personally I have a love-hate relationship with the transfer window. I love the hints from the resident ITK's but I find all the discussions about this, that and the other player being too expensive, and City doing bad business exceedingly tiresome.

Does anyone know whats happening with Joe Hart, I can't believe there isn't a list of clubs after him, what does that tell us, wouldn't mind if he stayed even as no 2 but know that would never happen, seems like the forgotten man, must be worth north of 25m easily, shame its ended like this.
