36/37 won it by 3 points and it was only two for a win. That season we won only 7 games away (drew 8, lost 6) but scored 51 goals. Goal difference was +46. As we conceded 61, I expect the papers were bemoaning our lack of a defence instead of glorying in scoring 107 goals! The final cherrry on the cake was that the rags were relegated the same season. Top scorers for 2 consecutive seasons, champions one year, relegated the next. Might just have been the beginning of 'Typical City'!Unless I'm mistaken, the only time we've won the league at a canter at any level, was under Keegan in the second tier.

The CF won't be as good as Costa and they didn't need a better CB.
I think Hart commands more wages. Good post though I think £13 mill for example would be a snip for HartReserve keeper, £13M. And we're struggling to give Hart away!

Whoever we sign, PGMOL will have a big say in who wins the league.
I don't think the powers that be want us to dominate football for the foreseeable future.
The decisions we get, or don't get, in the first ten games will give a fair indication of our chances next season.

I think we will see a back 3 quite a bit this season that will give our fullbacks some rest , I can see back 3 against the park the bus teams at home

We will go for at least 1 attacker. We are losing Nolito and Kelechi. Bernardo has replaced Navas.
I think Roberts replace one of them and I hope Sanchez is the other.

I know what your saying but In my opinion he's still a fantastic keeper who's just not fantastic with his feet and has a slight weakness going down to his left :-)
Apart from that he's top drawer :-)

2nd choice left back Robertson? 8mill a snip plenty of years left in him. Home grown and if we can't get Bertrand (for whatever a reason) think he'd be a decent back up. Don't see him as being too dispondent being backup either
